Tycon Systems Trade Show
A coordinated 10-foot trade show environment designed for visibility, brand consistence, and production.
Tycon Systems needed a cohesive collection of trade show materials that could communicate its products and services across several display formats. I designed the complete system, from the 10-foot backdrops and tabletop displays to brochures, handouts, and business cards, while maintaining a consistent visual experience across every piece.
MY ROLE
Sole designer responsible for concept development, layout, image preparation, print production, and coordination with the client and production vendors.

TOOLS
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign. The displays and table cover were produced in fabric, the retractable banners in vinyl, and the brochures, handouts, and business cards on premium paper.
A Unified Trade Show System
The visual system was designed to unite Tycon Systems’ Solar, Power, Wireless, and RemotePro divisions while keeping each product category easy to recognize. Consistent color, typography, curved forms, and product imagery connect the large-format displays with the supporting banners and table graphics.
From Layout Strategy to Production
The system began with booth layouts and hierarchy studies that considered viewing distance, traffic flow, product emphasis, and the relationship between individual components. The selected direction was then adapted to vendor templates, panel seams, endcaps, bleed requirements, fabric, and vinyl production.
Design Approach
The system needed to remain visually consistent while adapting to formats ranging from business cards to 10-foot displays. I used a shared visual hierarchy, color palette, typography, and imagery throughout the collection, then adjusted the information density for each application. Every display was prepared according to vendor-supplied dimensions, bleeds, safe areas, and large-format production requirements.
